In the fast-moving world of digital, I’ve gained a huge amount of knowledge in the years I’ve been in the industry. It’s a challenge and a joy to learn something new every day, and to apply that knowledge with fervour to every brand I am privileged to work on. A huge passion is educating clients and peers on best practice and mentoring them towards self sufficiency. I aim to be consistently enrolled in a class or course relevant to writing, strategy, and the advertising landscape to ensure I keep abreast of the current digital and media trends so I’m always in the best shape to advise my clients. WORK EXPERIENCE 

Content Strategy Consultant | Freelance | May 2015 – Present

I have had the rare opportunity of gaining an abundance of freelance clients; largely start-ups. This has given me the chance to instill sustainable communication models, build communication strategies, and craft social media presences from the ground up,  working closely with, and empowering clients and their staff.

Role included, but wasn’t limited to the following;

  • Manage projects through project life cycle including but not limited to the formulation of briefs, attending and contributing to creative reviews, managing production, creating and updating timelines.
  • Building user guides, training manuals and best practice reference documents.
  • Providing training and workshops to the internal marketing staff of each client.
  • Present creative work to clients.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of client’s industry and take a proactive role in developing client’s brand.

Copy Writer & Social Media Manager | Promise Agency | Sept 2014 – April 2015

While my official job was content and social media manager, and managing junior staff, I crafted the opportunity to work in various areas outside the scope of my job. This allowed me to gain experience in client service, as well as strategic planning and brand management.
